Three weeks minus one day

Gacked (is that even a word? Makes me think "Gackt-ed") from liadan_m

If there is one person you can't stop thinking about, post this same exact sentence in your journal.

Taken from miffykeika

1. Take five books off your bookshelf.
2. Book #1 -- first sentence
3. Book #2 -- last sentence on page fifty
4. Book #3 -- second sentence on page one hundred
5. Book #4 -- next to the last sentence on page one hundred fifty
6. Book #5 -- final sentence of the book
7. Make the five sentences into a paragraph.

The attic cubicle was dark and stuffy, two conditions that the tiny window under the eaves did little to alleviate. Her mouth was smeared with frothy chocolate, and I felt it again like the sudden sting of a concealed nettle -- the panic, the irrational terror of losing her. For what it was worth, the suit's monitors considered me in perfect health. She permitted him to swing her down, though she easily could have jumped to the ground, and she even smiled at him in her usual sideways fashion. This time I sure hope he lets them get there ...

1: Bardic Voices - Mercedes Lacky
2: Chocolat - Joanne Harris
3: Expendable - James Alan Gardner
4: Jovah's Angel - Sharon Shinn
5: The Princess Bride - William Goldman

My, that was crazy, yet it almost makes sense. ^.^ I wanna do it again with different books. ...eh, why not?

Mouldering bone crumbled beneath their boots as Lord Mardus and Vargul Ashnazai lowered themselves down into the tiny chamber beneat the earthen mound.

"But--Jos--you've seen him, the way he lords it over us like he was King of the Gods or something--keeping his nose in the air every time he looks at us." The girl was still standing at her side.

"He was my friend!"

"But not yet!"

1: Luck in the Shadows - Lynn Flewelling
2: Magic's Pawn - Mercedes Lackey
3: Lythande - Marion Zimmer Bradley
4: Interview with a Vampire - Anne Rice
5: The Song of Mavin Manyshaped - Sheri S. Tepper

Bleh, that one made less sense.

Gacked (is that even a word? Makes me think "Gackt-ed")

is that, like, sex Ed? but, ya know, Gackt Ed? (Gackt=Sex though, so the two subjects would be practically synonymous...)

Re: because i'm giddy
I second the Gackt=sex. Wait... does that mean that Gackt having sex would be something like sex squared? What if he was cloned, and screwed his CLONE!? Then it'd be sex cubed.....

I'll stop there.

Re: because i'm giddy
well, Gackt=sex as a teaching mechanism for math would have held my attention a lot better than the actual classes did. hm...this could be interesting.

we must tell the world! change curriculums everywhere! bishi in the classrooms! once the students are done drooling, teachers (and their bishi assistants) will have the students' undivided attention. grades will skyrocket! american youth will be saved by the prettiness!

...can a president run under that slogan? Bishi in the Classrooms...i can see it now...*hums happily*
