I'm absolutely in love with the Jpop/anime music radio station I found. I originally liked a different station, that played what's popular in Japan, until I realized that they played the exact same thing every day.
I got Moon Child in the mail today. The subtitles make a world of difference for understanding what's going on. Since they speak in three, maybe four, different languages. This movie is a complete guilty pleasure -- vampires played by Japanese pop singers, lots of action scenes, and a love triangle. (Mostly I watch it because the male leads are cute.)
An odd observation that I've made about myself: I tend to get along better with people that are at least a decade older than me. I'm not sure if I'm mature, or just snooty. Perhaps I just have an affinity for people who spell out their words and have more than a passing knowledge of punctuation. (Yeah, I'm a snob!)
Last but not least, Yarr! My Puzzle Pirate endeavors are going quite well. I must remember to participate in Talk Like A Pirate Day this year (September something...) because it's just too much fun to pass up.
I have a big plate of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, and yes, I'm going to gloat about it.
