11 o'clock and all's well!

Grandmother made it through surgery just fine -- she says she feels great.

I had a nice long walk and took 91 pictures from the hilltop. (I think I got carried away.)

My parents have offered to pay for an entire year of college (books included) for me, and are asking my *other* set of parents to pay for living expenses.

I've got a lovely, lovely man who I will get to meet in ten days.

Mom is grumpy and stressed, but stable and will possibly be able to go back to normal life around September. (The earliest they'll let her have the next surgery she needs.) This means I can go home without guilt or worrying.

Mia's gonna throw me a welcome back party mixed with a Fourth of July party -- explosions and party!

Mum very generously is letting me take a huge amount of beading supplies home with me, so I get to continue my new shiny-making hobby! I can probably even take all the bits on the plane if I cut the wire first.

I get to go home in eight days, and I know there will be friends waiting for me at the other end of transit-hell.

I've discovered Nethack! I die constantly, but I'm enjoying it anyway.

And my lovely, lovely, man just called me. He's got a beautiful voice, really, it practically makes me swoon. (And I'm not just saying that because he'll probably read this! It's true!)

Ah, I've got so many reasons to be thankful! ^...^ *wanders off humming happily*
