Hisashiburi da na...

Wow, haven't updated in a few days. Strangeness.

We had a garage sale this weekend, and I think I ended up with $20-30, which isn't too bad. Helped with getting presents for my parents, whose b-day's are both this month.

Didn't get much sleep this weekend. Certain people are a *bit* distracting. (A very welcome distraction, mind you) ^.^ All the same, a good weekend.

I played lots of Guilty Gear X2 today, and I have 2 or 3 story mode endings for a bunch of charaters. ^.^ Whee! My thumb's a bit sore though... ^.^;;

Also today, I went with dad to this comic/bookstore where he was planning to sell some old magazines. Well, I noticed their nice selection of sci-fi/fantasy books, and starting looking around. I came out with FIVE books. ^.^;;

- Wrapt in Crystal & Jovah's Angel, Sharon Shinn
- Luck in the Shadows, Stalking Darkness, & Traitor's Moon, Lynn Flewelling

The three by Flewelling make me absolutely gleeful. Yaoi (slash, technically...) in a published book, and a *seriously* kick-ass story besides. Not to mention the spiffy characters. Who are theives. ^.....^ If they were only bards as well as theives, Luck in the Shadows would easily be my favorite book. (At the moment, my favorite is "Archangel" by Sharon Shinn... although the Bardic Voices series by Mercedes Lackey is a close second)

Well, after grabbing that pile of books, we headed to Barnes and Nobles where I was looking for a specific book, for someone else. I didn't find it. >.< Instead, I bought "Magic's Promise." (Mercedes Lackey again, and slash again) It's the second in The Last Herald Mage series. ^.^ Good series. Very sad at times though. ~.~

Ooookay, I think I've said enough for now. Is Maria-chan home yet? SHE HAS MY NOTEBOOKS!!!!
