I was looking around, hoping for a reasonable argument for their cause, if nothing else, and stumbled across an article that just plain scared me. The first few words caught my eye:
"If you're concerned about the causes and cures of homosexuality..."
Homosexuality is not a disease. It is not the flu of sexuality. It is not a mental disorder. It is either a biological predisposition, a choice, or some combination of the two. It is not wrong. It is not a reason to hate someone.
I've been thinking back over my childhood a bit lately, and I've noticed that I was exposed to lots of open-minded people. The leaders of my mom's old Renaissance guild were gay. One of the two was grumpy, the other was practically a teddy bear. The point is, they were normal human beings. Just like me, just like you. There is no reason to hate. No reason at all, and no one seems to realize this.
Why?
