When in the forest deep and green,
My eyes see worlds once unseen.
The trees begin to move and speak,
'round their corners dryads peek.
Beneath the ground live giant worms,
In tree-tops nest humongous birds.
Wate- nymphs grace lake and stream,
Near them Elven castles gleam.
In these trees is magic verdant,
and I pause to revel in enchantment.
I travel to the deserts vast,
and see mirages of the past
That do not fade beneath my touch.
Who thought the sands could hold so much?
A warrior prince, sword raised high;
A towering palace with walls of white,
A veiled princess, a harem slave,
Living sand lifts in a wave.
Ancient tales now live so near,
For a night I revel in enchantment here.
I sail across the ocean wide,
The depths hold secrets locked inside.
A sunken pirate ship of old,
Greedy crew now locked in gold,
Their ghosts upon the wild waves dance.
Sirens drown you if given the chance.
By our side the merfolk swim,
Begging us to play with them.
Weeks lost revelling in enchantment,
Like sea water, only makes me want.
Before me now a city new,
The magics here are far and few.
The kindness of a human heart,
Knowledge others can impart,
A lover's passion-fueling kiss,
Sunny days of languid bliss,
Sharing laughter with a friend,
Nights that seem to have no end,
In life and all these stories vibrant,
I smile and revel in enchantment.
In other news... actually, that's a secret. Nee, Maria-chan? ^.~
